Isaiah 53:6 “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”

John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”

John 10:27-28 “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.”

The Lost coin Silver coins were evidence of a woman’s married state; they had great sentimental value Just like the woman and the shepherd rejoiced when they found what was lost, there is rejoicing in heaven when a sinner repents

The Prodigal son The younger son wanted his inheritance now He squandered his wealth in wild living He ended up face down in the mud, surrounded by pigs

The Son returns When his father saw him coming, he ran out to meet him and kissed him The father held a feast to celebrate his son’s return Instead of rejoicing, the older brother became angry
