Inscrutable (Adjective) Definition: Impossible to understand or interpret. Sentence: Guy looked blankly inscrutable.

Obscure (Adjective) Not discovered or known about; uncertain. His origins and parentage are obscure.

Unfathomable (Adjective) Incapable of being fully explored or understood. Her gray eyes were dark with some unfathomable emotion.

Enigmatice (Adjective) Difficult to interpret or understand; mysterious. He took the money with an enigmatic smile.

Premise (Noun) A previous statement or proposition from which another is inferred or follows as a conclusion. If the premise is true, then the conclusion must be true.

Melancholy (Noun) A feeling of pensive sadness, typically with no obvious cause. An air of melancholy surrounded him.

Belligerent (Adjective) Hostile and aggressive. A bull-necked, belligerent old man.

Demonstrative (Adjective) A person who tends to show feelings, especially of affection, openly. My family is not particularly demonstrative

Refrain (Verb) Stop oneself from doing something. She refrained from comment.

Inane (Noun) Silly; stupid. Don't constantly badger people with inane questions.
