Journal on Ticket Out the Door 1. Please write the date in MLA on the first line: 4 Oct. 2013 2. Reflect about how you did on your Ticket Out the Door. If you did well, why did you do well? What reading/ listening / note-taking strategies are working for you? List strategies that you would like to continue using. List any new strategies you would like to try. If you did not do well, let’s reflect. What happened today that lowered your reading comprehension? How could that be changed for tomorrow? What new reading / listening / note-taking strategies might you try to increase comprehension and memory tomorrow?

Learning Targets I can determine how Artemidorus’s warning is different from the Soothsayer’s. I can explain why Artemidorus begins speaking in prose, then switches to speaking in iambic pentameter. Portia is greatly affected by Brutus’s secret. I can decipher how she is different in the end of Act 2 compared to how she behaves at the beginning of Act 2.
