What I need to do during my sophomore year… NAVIANCE SURVEYS & REVIEW QUESTIONS

Grade 10: Who am I? Complete the surveys listed below to assist you in making decisions about your post high school plans Do What You are- After completing this inventory, you will get a report that provides you with important information about your personal characteristics. You will learn about careers that are matched to you, your personal strengths and blind spots, how you negotiate in your daily life, and a host of other useful information. Career Cluster Finder-This survey will help you learn what clusters may be a good match for you based on activities that interests you, personal qualities that you have had and subjects that you enjoy in school Career Interest Profiler-This survey is a toll that can help you discover the types of work activities and careers that match your interests. The interest profiler has 180 questions based work activities that people do at their jobs. Naviance Review Questions-Complete the review questions, which ask you to think about the information you learned from the surveys

Roles of the adults Homeroom teacher– will provide you with instructions and assistance as you complete your CP requirements Mrs. Russo and Mrs. Barone-Durant– will visit your homerooms periodically to assist and answer CP questions Mr. Hadfield – he will assign disciplinary consequences for students that fail to meet

Career Plan Advice Complete requirements as soon as you can Ask your advisor or counselor if you have any questions or concerns about the project Make an appointment with your counselor to discuss results from surveys
