Achievement of the Sector Plan Higher Apprenticeship Standards Moving Forward External Quality Assurance

Achievement of the Sector Plan The Sector Plan can be found at ; https://www.citb.co.uk/qualifications-standards/apprentice-frameworks/apprenticeship-frameworks-england/ The plan gives the details of standards in development, ready for delivery and issues. It is shared with the IfA to track how we are doing and identify any blockages. You are more than welcome to download from the web-site or check every month when it has been updated. This also links to the Training Specifications/Occupational Briefs for approved Standards.

Higher Apprenticeships What is approved; Construction Site Engineering Technician (level 4) Building Services Engineering Technician (Level 4) Civil Engineering Site Management. (Level 6) The Issues Construction Design and Build Technician EPA being re-developed to meet IFA criteria submission in January 2019 Construction Design Management approaching architectural engineering group to have core and options submission in January 2019 Construction Quantity Surveyor (Level 6) being re-developed to meet IFA criteria submission January 2019 Construction Surveying Technician (Level 4) being re-developed to meet IFA criteria submission January 2019 Construction Site Management (Level 6) being re-developed to meet IFA criteria submission January 2019 Construction Site Supervisor (Level 4) being re-developed to meet IFA criteria submission January 2019

Moving Forward Framework Closures. Site Carpentry and Architectural Joinery Intermediate (Level 2) and Advanced (Level 3) consultation end of July 18 with pathways closed December 2018. All new starts September 2018 on Standards Bricklaying (Level 2) close pathway in July 2019 at Intermediate (Level 2) Advanced (level 3) keep open All new starts on Level 2 July 2019 Plastering (Level 2) close Plastering at Intermediate (Level 2) and Advanced (Level 3) keep open All new starts July 2019 on Standards Steelfixing Major Projects consultation end of July 18 with pathway closed in Dec 2018 Lifting Technician consultation end of July with pathway wording removed that covers Tower, Crawler and Mobile Cranes
