Benefits of PowerPoint There are several benefits of PowerPoint and the first one is that it makes it easy to make professional looking presentations. One can easily create and preview a template using various color options. Additionally, its easier to add detailed and informative charts, tables and images. Secondly, it allows for collaboration of work. With the availability of a cloud integration and web apps, this has made it easy for multiple users to collaborate on presentations from different locations. Users can also upload their presentations to the cloud using Microsoft skydrive and access these presentations from anywhere.  The benefits of PowerPoint include the ease in creating and previewing templates. With PowerPoint One can easily create and preview a template using various color options. It also makes it easy for users to collaborate on work. With the availability tools such as cloud integration and web apps, multiple users can easily collaborate on presentations from different locations and upload them to one location. Powerpoint also makes it easy to create and design detailed and informative charts as well as tables and images.

Benefits of PowerPoint Another benefit of using PowerPoint for presentations is the ease of integration with other Microsoft products. This allows one to integrate information in to PowerPoint presentation using the linking and embedding techniques with MS Word, Access and Excel.  Another benefit is the ease of integration with other Microsoft office applications. Users cans rely on the liking and embedding techniques to integrate PowerPoint information with other applications such as Microsoft Word, Access and Excel.

Benefits of PowerPoint PowerPoint also provides numerous features which can be used create attractive and informative presentations. For instance, using the SmartArt feature one can be able to create diagrams including text and pictures. Other features include slide transitions and animation. Another benefit is the availability of features which can be used to design attractive and informative presentations. For example, PowerPoint provides the SmartArt feature which makes it easy for users to create diagrams and add texts and pictures to these diagrams.

PowerPoint features and Functionalities MS PowerPoint offers several functionalities which are listed below: SmartArt Shapes Slide transitions PowerPoint has resourceful features which include SmartArt, shapes and slide transitions. Theses features and functionalities are essential in the design of professional looking presentations.

SmartArt SmartArt can be used to create professional diagrams that include pictures and text or combinations of the two. SmartArt is mostly used be to create organization charts but it can be used for many different kinds of diagrams and even to provide some variety to slides using text bullet points. SmartArt is one of the most resourceful features of MS PowerPoint and its used for creating different types of diagrams. SmartArt is mostly used to create and design organization charts and can include both text and pictures. For instance, one can represent the hierarchy of responsibilities and seniority in an organization using SmartArt.

Shapes PowerPoint provides a feature of adding shapes to presentations. One can add, insert and then drag to draw a shape. There are many shapes available for use and they include circles, ovals, rectangles and connector shapes. Additionally, one can add text to these shapes for information purposes Another essential feature of PowerPoint is the availability of shapes which can be added to presentations. These shapes can be used to represent many things and they inserted by selecting and dragging on the page to draw the intended shape. Some of these shapes include circles, rectangles and connector shapes which are essential in representing business processes and flow charts.

Slide Transitions Slide transitions are used to make presentations clearer and more interesting. There are two main kinds of animation that are available in a PowerPoint presentation. These animations include the transition from one slide to the next and the animation of images and text on a specific slide. Another essential feature of PowerPoint is slide transitions. They are animation-like effects which occur when one moves from one slide to another during a presentation. With the use of slide transitions, one can control the speed, add sound and customize some certain aspects of transition effects.

Enhancing Productivity using PowerPoint There are several examples of how PowerPoint enhances productivity and the first one is through saving time. The use of PowerPoint ensures that employees can be able to quickly and easily create, view and edit presentations. Secondly, PowerPoint saves on costs which could have been used to create similar presentations using paper or other means. Finally, employees can be able to collaborate and share their inputs which leads to the effective design of attractive presentations. PowerPoint is used to increase productivity for business and there are many examples of productivity which include saving on time since it enables the quick and easy creation and editing of presentations. Secondly, PowerPoint saves on cost which could have been used to create similar presentations on paper or other traditional mediums. Finally, it allows for collaboration. With collaboration, employees can easily collaborate on work from any location which in turn saves time and leads to the design of attractive and informative presentations.

Although PowerPoint has a lot of benefits, it also has its disadvantages and advantages just like with any other system. Some of the advantages include the fact that it’s the most useful and easily accessible tool for creating visual diagrams. Another advantage is that its an effective tool for creating presentations for large audiences. However, PowerPoint has its disadvantages and they include the fact that it requires the availability of computers and other related equipment such as projectors. Additionally, some level of expertise is required to create and design professional looking presentations.

PowerPoint Features Usage PowerPoint can be used by businesses to perform different functions. For instance, sales teams can use this tool to implement charts of sales trends within given periods of times as shown below: PowerPoint can be applied in different situations and the Above is an example of the usage of PowerPoint features using charts and how they can be used by businesses. The web app is very useful for editing a PowerPoint via the web. It is as simple as opening the app, clicking on the presentation that needs to be opened, and making the changes. The file is saved automatically.
