NSGC Workshop Kansas City Emerging Technology 2007 NSGC Workshop Kansas City Hello, this is [your name]. I am going to show you some of the new and cool things I learned at the NSGC workshop that I went to in Kansas City in October 2007.

This stuff is in the news, so it was great to read, try, and hear about them live.

Emerging Technology 2007 Skype.com Narrated PowerPoint WikiGenetics Second Life I had hands-on experience practicing using Skype for videoconferencing one-on-one, and for a group conference call. I practiced narrating powerpoint slide shows and also got to see how to practice updating genetics information on the web through a new project, WikiGenetics.
