Good Performance Bad Performance Meet expectations Don’t meet expectations Reach out to do more Do minimum Responsible Not responsible Tries to anticipate problems and obstacles…looks for solutions Things just happen… respond and find an excuse Team player Not a team player Repeat pressing page down

If there are performance problems then- Ask why 5 times (to get to the root cause) IF the problem is from the following? THEN 1. Emotional, physical, mental, family, spiritual problems? Get help 2. Don’t know better Train 3. The system Document & improve 4. Inadequate communication Give feedback on performance 5. Poorly managed Train managers Remember to always treat others with respect and dignity. Repeat pressing page down

People need direction, knowledge, resources and support. Three things a leader must do: 1. Remove the barriers that prevent people from being self-motivated. 2. Lead the actions required to achieve the desired results. 3. Inspire people to perform better than expected. Our only real advantage lies in how well all our people can come together and produce.
