Visualizing Word Meanings What are human rights? Human rights are the things that the authors of the UDHR believe should be true for all people. Examples: to be free, to be equal, to have enough to eat, to have fun, etc… Think of the word equal. What do you visualize when you hear that word? What could a small group of people do to show the meaning of the word equal?

Visualizing Word Meanings In a small group, you will: Receive a vocabulary word. Have 5 minutes to create a standing scene (no talking or movement within the scene) that shows the meaning of your word. Share your scene with the class. How does visualizing our vocabulary words help us remember the meaning of the word?
