Number detective Your challenge Problem 3 Number detective Things to think about: Kevin is playing a computer game. He needs to enter the castle to complete the game. First he must find the secret passcode by answering a set of mystery clues. There are three numbers. Here are the clues to the first number: What properties of number do you know? What do the < and > signs mean? If you know what a number rounds to, what does this tell you about the number? When you write your own clues, how can you avoid giving the answer away too early? Your challenge Can you use your skills as a number detective to help Kevin win his game? Can you then write your own set of seven clues for a new secret passcode?
