Question 1 Rounded mountains made of sedimentary rock. These mountains are older than those of the Western Cordillera.

Question 2 Sedimentary rock that has been scraped by glaciers. Tundra-type vegetation is present due to permafrost.

Question 3 Formed of Igneous rocks and contains many glacial lakes. Mining for metallic minerals is an important industry here.

Question 4 Formed of sedimentary rock which was deposited in ancient seas as the Shield eroded. Manufacturing and agriculture are important industries here. Toronto Ottawa
