WHEN? Wednesday 10th April – Friday 12th April 2019 Leave school Wednesday morning by coach. Stop on way in Garwnant Country Park for packed lunch - arrive in Manor Adventure 2pm. Leave Manor Adventure Friday after lunch, arrive back school approx 4pm.

FACILITIES Centrally heated dormitory building: a former hotel. We will have our own floor of hotel. 4 or 6 children per room: every room has en suite bathroom. Canteen for meals. Common room for meetings and evening activities.

The food is child friendly, plentiful and nutritious: ● Full Welsh breakfast ● Substantial lunch ● Excellent cooked dinner ● Always plenty of choice ● Vegetarians, Vegans & special diets catered for

A TYPICAL DAY 07:30 Wake up!! 08:00 BREAKFAST 09:00-10:30 Activity 1 12:30 LUNCH 13:40-15:10 Activity 3 15:30-17:00 Activity 4 17:00-19:00 EVENING MEAL and free time 19:00-20:30 Activity 5 21:30 Bed time…..zzzzzzzz……

ACTIVITIES Specialist staff lead all activities. All sports and safety equipment provided. 5 activities per day, including: Climbing / abseiling Kayaking / canoeing Assault / ropes course Zip wire Archery Stand-up Paddle Boarding Orienteering / compass work

MANOR ADVENTURE IS SERIOUS, STRUCTURED, SAFE, CHALLENGING AND HELPS DEVELOP AN INNER CONFIDENCE AND SELF ESTEEM

Health & Safety are a Priority: ● AALS Licence ● Regularly inspected by Health & Safety Executive ● Conform to all Governing Body Guidelines ● Each activity Risk Assessed ● 4X4 Rescue vehicle ● Radio linked activities ● Activities, equipment and instructors continually assessed and monitored

YOU NEED TO BRING A sleeping bag and pillow case. Toiletries. Waterproofs. Warm clothes. Changes of clothes in case you get wet. Plastic carrier bags for wet clothes/dirty washing. Trainers – one set for getting wet, one dry set Any medication (health questionnaire to follow).

YOU DO NOT NEED TO BRING Pillows. Aerosols. Electrical or electronic equipment: hand-held computer games, digital cameras, mobile phones, hair straighteners etc. Anything expensive or valuable.

PAYMENT Total cost £170, covers everything. All payments can be made on our Parent Pay account which is currently being set up. Can be paid in full, or by 5 instalments: deposit of £50 and 4 further payments of £30 (November, December, January and February) Final payment is needed by February half term. The £50 deposit needs to be paid before October half term in order to save a place.
