Tule Lake Teacher Project Institute June 24 to June 27, 2014 MIS Historic Learning Center Presidio, San Francisco, CA Goals: Teachers will learn content knowledge about the Tule Lake Segregation Center. Teachers will work collaboratively to develop a draft curriculum with their fellow teachers. Objectives: Teachers will develop a draft curriculum on the Tule Lake Segregation Center for elementary (grade 4-5), middle school, and high school students to build historic and critical thinking. Teachers will pilot the curriculum in their classrooms and give feedback to NJAHS.
