Supervisor Responsibilities I Know PLU Safety Programs that affect your employees, e.g. bloodborne pathogens, hazard communication Identify work or behaviors that increase employee risk Arrange for Employee safety training

Supervisor Responsibilities II Report Safety Hazards Investigate and Report Injuries Implement engineering, management, or protective equipment controls to limit employee risk

Supervisor Responsibilities III High Risk departments conduct regular Safety Meetings Recognize/Reward employees with safe work habits

Safety Committee Meetings are every second Thursday at 8:15 am in the UC Encourage employees to contact their committee representative with concerns Minutes are posted on Safety Bulletin Boards Administration, Dining Services, Plant Services
