A note from the teachers… Homework and Newsletter Oct. 2nd- Oct. 6th A note from the teachers… Happy October! Our amazing learners have already grown so much in the last two months and we are excited to meet with you all during conferences to share all of their progress! We are continuing our exploration of light and sound energies this week while taking a specific look at our brains since we are setting learning goals for next quarter. We are talking about “growth mindset” which is understanding that our intelligence can grow and change as we exercise our learning abilities. It is important that our kids feel confident in their intelligence and are willing to give their best effort to work towards goals. We will be sending additional information in Wednesday’s folder and there are some great videos about growth mindset available on ClassDojo under the “big ideas” tab. As always, please contact us with any questions or comments. We are excited to see you all at conferences! Sincerely, Mrs. Swartz and Mrs. Watson.
