CNOD Transforming Roles Programme Maximising contribution of nursing, midwifery and health professions to: develop and transform roles to meet current and future needs of Scotland’s health and care system ensure nationally consistent and sustainable and progressive roles, education and career pathways

National Health and Social Care Workforce Plan “£3 million over 3yrs - additional training to enhance the skills of GPNs so that they are better equipped to meet the needs of patients with multiple health conditions, making it easier for patients to access the right person at the right time”.

3 year plan – to include GPN Clinical Career Fellowship: GPNs with approximately between 2 and 10 years experience:   Funded post-graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice, over 2 years, commencing September 2019 Action Learning Sets Masterclasses One-to-one support - experienced healthcare professional 15 - 30 places available Applications open early 2019
