Components 96 Pig cards How are they different? Let’s take a look at the components of the game. (Click 1) There are a total of 96 cards in the games. Each of them features a pig. But they are different in some ways. (Click 2) Can you spot the 5 types of differences among the pigs? Answer: Size (big/small); Skin colour (grey/pink); with/without right arm; with/without popcorn; with/without sunglasses How are they different?

Game Objective Find the right team members in the right order. = 1 point Click #3 – If you have found these teammates in this correct order by the end of a round, how many points will you get? Yes, 9! The player with the most points after a few rounds wins.

Preparation 1. Shuffle all cards. 2. Deal 1 card (Captain card) to each player. 3. Lay out 30 (5x6) cards. Depending on the discipline of the audience, decide to set-up now or later: if good, let them do this now; if not, just mention it here and have them do this later.

Game Play (I) To start a round, all shout: Pick-a-Pig! 2. Turn over your Captain card and start grabbing! 3. Shout “stop” when you can’t find a suitable card. Please refer to the rulebook for the complete rules.

#2. What to Grab? Grab with 1 hand! 1 card at a time! Place it on top! Identical 1 difference 1 difference 1 difference 1 difference Click #1: After you’ve turned over your Captain card, you start to grab cards from the middle and place them onto the cards in your hand ONE BY ONE. The card that you grab from the middle must either be IDENTICAL to the topmost card in your hand or different from it by EXACTLY ONE feature. For example... Grab with 1 hand! 1 card at a time! Place it on top!

Lose all cards that round! #3. When to Shout ‘Stop’? FIRST to shout ‘STOP’ Correctly Get 1 card as Bonus. Wrongly Lose all cards that round! Click #1: When the FIRST player shouts “stop”, everybody checks his topmost card against the remaining cards in the middle. He’s correct if there are no more suitable card for him to grab. He receives any 1 card from the middle as an award. He’s wrong if at least one of the cards in the middle is identical to his topmost card or carries exactly 1 feature different from it. He loses all cards he has grabbed during this round! +1

Scoring 4. After stopping, every player in turn shows their sequence of cards to check if it is correct. 5 pts (Keep cards aside) 0 pt May demonstrate how to tell a little story when checking the cards, e.g. Click #3: This piggy is enjoying some popcorn in the sun. Click #4: He suddenly sees something strange in front of him so he puts off his shades. Click #5: He turns pale... Click #6: and grows bigger and bigger. Click #7: In order to stop himself from growing big, he’s an idea. He puts on his shades again and pretends not to see anything. (Return all to box) 3 pts

End of Round & Game End 5. Prepare for next round: i. deal each player 1 Captain card ii. refill the pool: 5x6 cards 6. Game ends = not enough Captain cards Count all collected cards & see who wins! Click #3: The game stills continues with fewer than 30 cards in the middle if every player can still be dealt a new Captain card. It will then be the last round.

Let’s Try! If there is not enough staff, the Tutor demos the first game with a small group and have all others observe first.
