The Graduate College Travel Summary Presentation Presented by Yiyun Zhou Yiyun Zhou, Meng Han, Jing He, Yan Wang

IEEE International Conference on Computer Communications IEEE INFOCOM is a top ranked conference on networking in the research community. It is a major conference venue for researchers to present and exchange significant and innovative contributions and ideas in the field of networking and closely related areas. IEEE INFOCOM covers both theoretical and systems research. D15-19 April 2018 // Honolulu, HI // USA It is a top ranked conference and there are many researches focus on data-driven problems. It will be helpful to learn and communication the professional researches from others.

Deep Learning Approach for Cyber-attack Detection In this research, we have two main contributions. Firstly, we proposed a new deep learning architecture called “DFEL”. It can boost all the classifiers prediction speed and available for real-time detection. Secondly, the DFEL can help traditional machine learning algorithms to reach the higher accuracy and recall level on various datasets. In the presentation, we meet many researchers all over the world and have a great communication.

Deep Learning Approach for Cyber-attack Detection

Benefit of Travel This conference lead me see many interesting and valuable research topics in the computing communication field. It brings me many research new idea. It is a good chance to communication with other research, I also join the mentorship program of N2Woman Organization. It is a wonderful experience to communication with other senior researchers.

Publication(s) The paper titled Deep Learning Approach for Cyber-attack Detection, we developed our own model to predict the cyber attack accurately and efficiency.
