Nbtt Collage challenge

Directions: When students create a collage, they are required to find words, pictures, and even phrases from magazines, newspapers, text, or the internet that relate to the concepts studied. It is amazing to hear the conversations students have while looking for items. “Will this work?” “Do you think Philip would like this?” “Doesn’t this look like something Miss Narwin would wear?” Students will be actively engaged in conversation and searching while building their comprehension of the text and connecting to it. Possibilities for collages are listed below, but the options are endless.

Theme Ideas for Collage… Philip’s Favorite Things Life at Harrison High Philip vs. Miss Narwin High School Boy’s Top Ten Nothing but the Truth Words Patriotism in the USA School Days School Rules Philip’s Bedroom Philip’s Locker Miss Narwin’s Classroom
