The treachery of breaking the covenant of marriage has spurred on immorality. Marriage has been devalued in our society. Unloving and unfaithful treatment of a spouse is a treacherous act (Malachi 2:14, 15). “Because of immoralities, each man is to have his own wife, and each woman is to have her own husband.” (1 Corinthians 7:2)
