Types of computers Desktop- is a personal computer that fits on or under a desk. They usually consist of a monitor, keyboard, mouse and either a horizontal or vertical (tower) form factor. Laptop– A portable computer that is powered by an AC adaptor or battery and can be easily transported to a temporary space Tablet - a computer that accepts input directly onto an LCD screen rather than via a keyboard or mouse. Our Device – A hybrid between a tablet and a laptop.
