Brooks ISIDOR Portal: Bringing Efficiency and Usability to Biobanking Applications

Biobank Activities Biobank activities are varied and require interactions with multiple software applications Systems do not interoperate and often users have multiple logins and passwords to remember The Brooks ISIDOR Portal brings together different biobanking applications within a single framework Gives users single sign-on access Common user interface and Personalized dashboards Rapid navigation to commonly used features

Application Features are organised in a workflow arrangement Each group contains features related to that activity

Clicking on Collect takes us to areas that manage sample collection Here we can register donors, check consent status, create sample records

Clicking on the pin icon adds that activity to a users personal dashboard This allows each users to create shortcuts to their most used activities

The order of each widget can also be set by the user Activities can be colour coded, re-sized, have graphics and text added. The order of each widget can also be set by the user

The ISIDOR Portal also allows users to individually set their preferences. Language, user profiles, messages, screen layouts are all configurable.
