Outline Session 1: Adaptation Financing in the Region Session 2: Unlocking Adaptation Financing Session 3: Initiating Adaptation Projects Session 4: Proposal Development Exercise Session 5: Reporting and Feedback The workshop is composed of 5 sessions. Each session covers half of a day, except for session 4 which covers a whole day. In Session 1, you’ll be given an introduction to Adaptation Financing in general and its current status in the Region. Session 2 will be mainly about donor requirements and criteria. Also, some of the participants will share adaptation financing in their own countries. Then, Session 3 will prepare you in making an adaptation project proposal. Session 4 offers a venue for the practical application of what you have learned in Session 3. In this session, participants will be asked to form groups and make their own proposals. Session 5 is a continuation of Session 4, wherein participants will report their proposals and they will have a chance to receive feedback from representatives from funding agencies. After that, there will be an open discussion on lessons learned and ways forward. This workshop was designed to have a 2-way dialogue between presenters and participants. Thus, participants are requested to actively listen and participate in the discussions. Now, I will hand you to Puja for the house rules. Thank you for listening.
