Taking a look at ourselves at the halfway point How am I doing? Taking a look at ourselves at the halfway point

How am I doing? We have approximately 28 days left in this semester! Raise your hands if this semester has flown by! Raise your hands if this has crept along! Ask yourself…

AM I… Involved? Not too late to join an organization or club Be a part of your school and your school will become a part of you Extracurriculars matter to employers and colleges! Get to know new, fascinating people with shared interests! AM I… Involved?

Using my time wisely? AM I… We’re almost halfway done, and the rest will fly by! Balance schoolwork and other interests How has procrastination worked so far? Using your time wisely leaves more time for your interests. AM I… Using my time wisely?

Around good people? AM I… You have some control over with whom your time is spent Are the people in your life building you up or tearing you down? Do you have people who are there when you need to talk? Being a good friend brings you good friends AM I… Around good people?

Making good academic decisions? Do I keep my work organized? If I have a question, am I asking a teacher? Are my grades going to get me the required credits for promotion at the end of the school year? If I’m not doing well, do I have a plan to change things? Am I studying and doing homework? AM I… Making good academic decisions?

Making smart goals? AM I… What are your strengths? Do I know what I might do after high school? Do I know what I need to be doing right now, in my current grade to succeed later? What do I want my life to look like in five years? AM I… Making smart goals?

How am I doing? Again…we are almost half of the way through the school year! Take a look at your semester so far; are there changes that need to be made? Are there things you should ask a teacher or counselor?
