Through Paul’s prayers, the Holy Spirit teaches us that, God’s SPIRIT works in us, through God’s WORD! Ephesians 6:17 And take … the sword of the Spirit, which is the WORD of God.

1 Thessalonians 2:13 And for this reason we also constantly thank God that WHEN YOU RECEIVED from us THE WORD of God’s MESSAGE, you ACCEPTED IT NOT AS the word of MEN,

but for what it REALLY IS, the WORD of God, which also PERFORMS ITS WORK IN YOU who believe.

Ephesians 3:14 FOR THIS REASON, I bow my knees before the Father, For WHAT Reason?

Ephesians 3:16 Colossians 1:9-11 [11] STRENGTHENED with all POWER, ACCORDING to His glorious MIGHT, for the ATTAINING of all STEADFASTNESS and patience; joyously

Ephesians 3:17a Christ DWELLING IN you SO THAT Christ MAY DWELL IN YOUR HEARTS through FAITH; … Christ DWELLING IN you 2 Corinthians 13:5 Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! …

Ephesians 3:17a Christ DWELLING IN you 2 Corinthians 13:5 … Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is IN you – unless indeed you FAIL the test?

Ephesians 3:17b a STEADY POSITION, a HABIT of FAITH and LOVE, … and that you, BEING ROOTED and grounded in LOVE, “ROOTED” suggests: a STEADY POSITION, a HABIT of FAITH and LOVE, like a tree ROOTED in the soil.

Ephesians 3:17b Colossians 2:6-7 [6] As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so WALK in Him, [7] having been FIRMLY ROOTED and now being BUILT UP in Him and ESTABLISHED in your FAITH, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.

Ephesians 3:17b Too many disciples WANT the FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT… … WITHOUT BEING “ROOTED” in SPIRITUAL things!

Ephesians 3:18a Paul has already prayed that they might UNDERSTAND; now he prays that they might TAKE HOLD of these wonderful blessings and GRASP them for themselves. BY FAITH [vs 17] we LAY HOLD of God’s PROMISES.

Ephesians 3:18a [18] may be able to COMPREHEND… “COMPREHEND” [G2638] ‘to POSSESS’; ‘to EAGERLY TAKE’; ‘to SEIZE’.

Ephesians 3:18-19 [18] may be able to COMPREHEND with all the saints what is the BREADTH and LENGTH and HEIGHT and DEPTH,

Ephesians 3:18-19 [19] and TO KNOW the LOVE of CHRIST which SURPASSES KNOWLEDGE, that you MAY BE FILLED UP to all the FULNESS of God. FILLED the verb G4137; FULNESS the noun G4138 from G4134 meaning FULL or FILLED.

FILLED to all FULNESS!

CAREFULLY Read… John 1:16 Colossians 2:10 For of His FULNESS we have all received, and grace upon grace. Colossians 2:10 and in Him you HAVE BEEN MADE COMPLETE [FULL – G4137]…;

CAREFULLY Read… Colossians 2:10 (Amplified Bible) And you are IN Him, made FULL and having come to FULNESS of life [in Christ you too are FILLED with the Godhead – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and reach FULL spiritual stature]….

To be FILLED UP to ALL the FULNESS of God, you must: TRUST that God STRENGTHENS the believer with POWER through HIS SPIRIT IN the INNER MAN (person) [verse 16]! TRUST that Christ MAY DWELL IN YOUR HEARTS through your FAITH [verse 17]!

To be FILLED UP to ALL the FULNESS of God, you must: BE ROOTED and grounded IN LOVE [verse 17]! EAGERLY SEIZE and HOLD ON TO the LOVE of Christ [verses 18-19]!

… by RELYING ON the POWER of God WITHIN YOU! RELEASING YOUR FAITH… … by RELYING ON the POWER of God WITHIN YOU!

Ephesians 3:20 Now to HIM WHO IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDING ABUNDANTELY BEYOND all that we ask or think, according to the POWER that WORKS WITHIN us,

the POWER that works WITHIN Ephesians 3:7 … of which I was made a SERVANT, ACCORDING to the GIFT of God’s GRACE which was given to me ACCORDING to the WORKING of HIS POWER.

You MUST BE Born of Water AND Spirit!

John 3:1-2 [1] Now there was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews; [2] this man came to Him by night, and said to Him,…

John 3:1-2 [2] … “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher; for no one CAN DO these signs that You do UNLESS God is with him.”

John 3:3-8 [3] And Jesus answered saying to him, “Truly, truly I say to you, EXCEPT THAT ONE BE BORN AGAIN from ABOVE, they ARE NOT ABLE to see (or perceive) the Kingdom of the God.”

John 3:3-8 [5] Jesus answered, “Truly, truly I say to you, EXCEPT THAT ONE BE BORN OUT of WATER and SPIRIT, they ARE NOT ABLE to BE ENTERING INTO the kingdom of the God.”

John 3:3-8 and the ONE HAVING BEEN BORN out of the Spirit is spirit. [6] “The ONE HAVING BEEN BORN out of the FLESH is FLESH, and the ONE HAVING BEEN BORN out of the Spirit is spirit. [7] DO NOT MARVEL that I said to you, ‘YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN from ABOVE.’”

John 3:3-8 but DO NOT KNOW where it comes from and where it is going; [8] “The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but DO NOT KNOW where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is BORN of the SPIRIT.”
