PCA and CEPEG Committee Annual Update CEPEG Conference 12th May 2018

What are CEPEG and PCA CEPEG Historical organisation that created PCA. Now just a name for the Conference Hosting PCA Professional Body of Conductors registration for conductors in the UK Run according to a constitution Led by committee of volunteers

What does the PCA do? We are a member-led professional body for trainee and qualified conductors with a recognised degree-level qualification in Conductive Education. Listens to, and works for, conductors and those working in CE and supports them in their working lives. Promotes the status of the conductor profession with requirements for continual professional development for all PCA members and by provision of regular CPD opportunities. Nurtures the development of a dynamic network of conductors across the UK through which information, expertise and discussion can be shared (e.g. mentoring, online forums). Provides the Code of Practice and Professional Standards for Conductors in the UK. Provides advisory publications such as Guidelines for Moving and Handling in Conductive Education, Use of Equipment in Conductive Education, Working with other professionals and produces guidance material, and written articles, regarding CE and related current issues. Runs the CEPEG Annual Conference for everyone interested in CE. Hosts the annual CE Awareness week

Financial Summary 2017-18 Annual accounts for year March 2017 – February 2018 Income: £2,717.68 Expenditure: £3,909.88 Account balance on 28 Feb: £7,862.25 Expenditure included the new website and therefore higher than usual.
