Language/Writing/Vocabulary: This week we will… Orange Vocabulary Workshop Unit 10 Use mentor sentence to identify compound predicates HARP, REEL, REEL, PAAT in-class writing prompt Spelling: utilize dictionary/thesaurus/dictionary.com references and refer to list of “non-negotiable” words in writing portfolio Math: This week we will… review of data/area/perimeter Math Superstars enrichment Project of the Week (P.O.W.): due THURSDAY March 30-April 6~ Spring Break/No School Reading: Comprehension on Thursday Orange Vocabulary Workshop: THURSDAY Unit 10 Assessment Language: THURSDAY Mentor Sentence Assessment with focus on identifying subjects and compound predicates Spelling: Assessed through writing.
