The benefits of taking the PSAT! 2017 PSAT Registration The benefits of taking the PSAT!

Practice, practice, practice… The PSAT is a great way to prep for the SAT before you begin the college admissions process. It’s cheaper than taking the actual SAT. Historically, students who take the PSAT/NMSQT score higher on the SAT, on average, than those who don't take the test. All students who take the PSAT/NMSQT have access to personalized online SAT practice through Khan Academy. Access to full-length SAT practice tests.

Scholarships $$$$$! Students who take the PSAT/NMSQT in 11th grade can compete to enter the National Merit® Scholarship Program. Access to $180 million in combined annual scholarship awards. Can assist with college admissions. Access to automatic college scholarships dollars by qualifying as a National Merit finalist or semi-finalist.
