SCRs in subset #233 (neg) #S65 (pos) 19-20 18-20 Supplementary Figure 1. Domain mapping of CFH autoantibody. Sera from an CFH autoantibody-negative and positive individual (by ELISA) were used to probe a dot blot of cloned and purified domain subsets of the CFH protein (SCR 1-3. 2-4, 3-5, 6-8, 7-9, 8-10, 9-11, 10-12, 11-13, 12-14, 13-15, 14-16, 15-17, 16-18, 18-20 and 19-20). Also on the blot are several irrelevant proteins and, in several spots (circled), human IgG. Detection was with anti-human IgG-HRP. Boxes have been placed around the spots from which placement of the epitope in domains 19-20 can be deduced. The blot was a gift of Dr. M. Pangburn (University of Texas).
