SANTI BURGALETA NICOLÁS GUEVARA Pompeii vs Vesuvius SANTI BURGALETA NICOLÁS GUEVARA

HISTORY In the 89th century romans invaded the city of Pompeii so they built lots of roman buildings such as coliseums and amphitheatres with a central nataorium. They also built some aquariums so they could have water. Inside the houses there were paintings on the walls and on the ceilings which were called frescoes.

Eruption Of Mount Vesuvius By the 1st century AD, Pompeii was one of a number of towns near the base of the volcano, Mount Vesuvius. The erupción ocurred on August 24 AD 79 just one day after Vulcanalia, the festival of the Roman god of fire. Studies say that at that temperature (250°) was suficiente to cause instante death even if people are sheltered.
