Responsibilites – doctoral education (1/2) The SLU Board (Styrelsen) makes decision about the admission ordinance. The Vice Chancellor makes decision about the guidelines of doctoral education. The council for doctoral education (Fur) deals with strategic issues on university level regarding doctoral education. The Faculty Board has the over-all responsibilty for the doctoral education at the faculty.

Responsibilites – doctoral education (2/2) Each Faculty has a doctoral education committee (FUN)/Vice dean that makes decisions on e.g. admission of new doctoral students, change of supervisors and public defence. The research schools organises courses and other activities. The head of the department has the responsibility for the doctoral education at the department. Each department has a director of study/contact person for doctoral education. Main and assistant supervisors
