Overview of the UMSU Governance Renewal Process Learning Briefing from MUSU Office Bearers and Staff Reading of relevant background information Research into governance arrangements of comparable student organisations Discovery Research with stakeholders including: MUSU Council MUSU Committees MUSU Staff GSA Council members and staff University officials Design Convene a 'governance forum' with all relevant stakeholders to co-design a new governance model in response to the findings of the Discovery phase Develop draft governance model Consultation Socialise/review the draft model on-line or in writing Refine draft model in response to stakeholder input Submit final report for approval by Council Delivery Work with lawyers to give legal effect to the new model through revised constitution(s) Present final report and model to Special General Meeting Overview of the UMSU Governance Renewal Process
