1. Using Email Why Email? -it is free to make a contact! -everybody checks their e-mail often For what? How? -to inform the topic of the research and to talk when they are going to meet and work on it, we send email to their own email account

To manage research group Chatting It is stupid to talk to someone who is sitting in front of me on the internet..

2. Chatting Why? -in the situation that we can not talk loud -if we can not have a meeting in daytime Merit -We can have almost perfect communication just like we are talking to the others

Chatting for research work in gourp In the case that we can not get together in school We can do discuss on online about the topic! It is time to eat dinner honey! I’m chatting on the internet with my friends for our school project!

3. Using BBS In the case! The students can not chat on the internet! They can use BBS

What can we do with using BBS? Can share the ideas Can upload files for the research work Can check the process all the time!

To prepare presentation 日本語の勉強頑張っています！！ To prepare presentation SP2 For example ! A SP2 student who is taking Japanese class which is called 歌で学ぶ日本語 Everybody should have presentation in the class, and it is his turn next week.

To prepare presentation What kind of information does he need? What does he have to do? -he has to choose a song -he has to have a file of the song to introduce it to everybody

He has to choose a song He used the internet (WWW) to look at the Oricon chart He also used blog Mixi for asking his Japanese friends for an advise He used Napster for downloading the music files to figure out which song is good.

To introduce a song to everybody He used multimedia player Real player to show the other students MV of the song.

Presentation itself There are a lot of tools that we can use for presentation -Powerpoint -multimedia player -documents And… using the homepage

Using ftp system and HTML In class we learned to how to use ftp system, and making homepage with using HTML. 1. Find a server 2. Upload the content with using the ftp 3. The content should be uploaded by using HTML

Merits Everybody can see on the internet without sending a file to each person A big file can be also uploaded We just copied Toyoizumi’s HTML , but next time I want to do it by myself!

The internet is helping our college life in a lot of ways!
