How Smart are Dolphins? Anna DuBois 6-T

Reading Signs The trainers use hand signs for the dolphins to read. The trainers use picture signs. Some of the signs are swim fast and jump.

Noises Some of the noises they make are clicks and whistles. They make noises that bounce off the object they are looking for and the dolphin can tell how far the object is from them. The dolphins use noises to communicate.

Random Facts They have the second largest brain to humans. They have a lot of teeth as you can see in the picture. They are closely related to whales.

Conclusion I've learned a lot during this presentation. One thing that summarizes this is they are very smart animals. I think that if they have more training they will be almost as smart as humans. www.pbs.org
