Skype with Mrs. Amy Vanderwater

Mrs. Amy Vanderwater

special Mrs. Amy Vanderwater made a special Olaf snowman for us, and it was made from real snow!! Unfortunately, the snowman was half way melted by the time we finished talking to her. She also showed us the illustration and poems in her next book. The awesome thing is that we are the only ones who have seen the book. We each got to talk to her and ask her questions. It was so fun!!!

What her homemade olaf looks like, but smaller and mouth closed.

Who is amy vanderwater? Mrs. Amy Vanderwater is a famous poet. She wrote many books. For Example, she wrote “Forest Has a Song” and “Spring Sheep”. She lives in Holland, New York, which is right by Canada!!That is so far away!!

Her book, “Forest has a song”

Byeee!! I really hope we get to Skype her again and maybe actually see her in person!!
