Description of Summative Performance Task: You will create a News Report Video as a group about the topic question: How might the availability or scarcity of different resources affect cultural development? Featured Source: Clips app Featured Tech Tools: iPads with Internet access Steps: You will be separated into groups of 4 by random draw. Using the iPad, open the CLIPS app to create a group video. Each group must create a News Report detailing what might happen to cultural development if you have a surplus of resources and if you have a scarcity of resources. You MUST explain which resources are necessary for cultural development and why they are necessary. Each group member MUST speak in the video and be an active participant. At the end of class, each group will share their video with the whole class. After all videos have been shared, each group will need to view videos created by a different class and provide feedback to the other students’ videos.
