Warm Up Learning Target: I will analyze documents and notes to understand the Korean War. Who controlled Korea during WWII? Who controlled it after WWII? Why is North Korea cut off from the world?

Reminders Binder check Wednesday, 4/4 Quiz this Friday, 4/6 Last day for missing work: Friday, 4/6

Korean War Closely read each document. Examine: Tone Word choice Claims made Evidence used Attempts to influence/ manipulate the reader Then use the documents to answer the questions on the green half sheet in your notebook.

Korean War When you are finished with the questions, take out a sheet of paper and write notes on the slides on the website describing the progress of the Korean War. Make sure you get the important information from each slide. Answer the questions on the last slide on your notebook paper.
