Multipurpose Centre of Excellence Open for use by different stakeholders: Testing: Disabled and elderly are able to test various assistive technologies in person. Counselling: Elderly and disabled can seek counsel and assistance in equipping their home environment with the innovative ICT to facilitate their independent living Innovation: Social and health institutions can use IRIS to develop specific ICT based activities and services for elderly and disabled

Multipurpose Centre of Excellence Open for use by different stakeholders: R&D: Researchers, designers, and developers of home environments, including ICT and services, for elderly and disabled Education: Healthcare and social care professionals can get trained and can thus spread the knowledge in their day-to-day practice by counselling target users Demonstration: General public interested in getting acquainted with the difficulties elderly and disabled face in their lives and ICT based solutions empowering them for a more independent and safe living in their home environment
