SAHS ACT Test Preparation 2018

The ACT is coming soon! Every Junior in the state of North Carolina will be taking the ACT for FREE this month! Normally the test cost $62.50! SAHS Staff will register you. You do not have to sign up on your own! Everyone must take the test. The results can be used for college entrance at four year universities, help you enroll in community college programs and will tell you more about areas that might need improvement according to college readiness standards. Your scores can help exempt you from the placement test at Alamance Community College if you want to take classes there for free this summer or during your senior year.

What to Expect During the next several days we will be doing some test preparation activities in homeroom each day. Please make sure you are in homeroom. These short videos, presentations, lessons and activities will help you better understand the ACT and may just boost your scores!

ACT Boot Camp is this Saturday! Big Tip! Today is the last day to sign up for the Boot Camp. It will be held in the media center from 8:30am- 12:30pm. The cost is only $5.00 (which includes your breakfast and workbook). See Ms. Davis in Student Services today to sign up! Registration forms are available in Student Services.
