Technology can provide a level playing field whereby students can engage purposefully in the assessment design and creation supporting a personalized approach to learning. Enhancement – Is it providing an avenue for unprecedented reflection/feedback? Technology can support student reflection and associated teacher feedback that may have been unattainable through traditional methods. Extension – Is AfL driven by peers, teachers and subject matter experts? Internal and external peer or expert feedback/assessment is afforded through the purposeful integration of technology in AfL.
