E-learning E means electronic. Internet-based, CD-Rom based, telephone-based, mobile-based, video-based learning activities should all be considered as e-learning. Today, the vast majority of e-learning takes place on the web through a web browser . (Thomas De Praetere, 2008) E-learning refers to all organised learning and activities under the influence of an educational organisation that are carried out with the help of Information and communication Technologies(ICT). Why e-learning? The instructor is forced to make learning interesting by using various approaches. According to Tom Russell’s “No-Significant- Difference Phenomenon”, a meta analysis conducted in 1999, proves online learning to be more effective than traditional classroom. E-learning is the only kind of learning, which is available 24/7 at your comfort location. ICOLACE 2010 2/23/2019
Is setting up e-learning easy? E-learning is a complex educational undertaking. It requires meticulous planning, implementation and follow-up for it to be successful in the long run. ICOLACE 2010 2/23/2019
