Claudette Colvin Born September 5, 1939 Lived in Montgomery, Alabama At age 15, March 2, 1955, she refused to give up her seat and move to the back of the bus to a white person, nine months before Rosa Parks. Her court case stemming from her refusal to give up her seat on the bus, decided by the U.S. District Court, ended bus segregation in Alabama. Quote: We couldn't try on clothes," Colvin says. "You had to take a brown paper bag and draw a diagram of your foot ... and take it to the store Reference: http://www.biography.com/people/claudette-colvin- 11378

I have mastered the math concepts presented in unit 1 thru unit 5 I have mastered the math concepts presented in unit 1 thru unit 5. COMPREHENSIVE TEST #6 I can describe the relationships shown in a scatter-plot (identifying patterns such as I can describe a relationship as increasing or decreasing, linear or nonlinear, from an equation, table or graph. I can construct and interpret scatter plots. clustering, outliers, positive or negative association, linear association, and nonlinear association). I can sketch a line of best fit on a scatter plot I can justify the location of my line of best fit and explain why or why not a given line is a good fit. Assignments After Test Analysis Complete Practice A handout Sugar prices Bird’s eggs Study Island: My class/ Unit 6/ Game Mode

Closing/Summarization: BE A MIND READER bivariate scatter plot line of best fit clustering outlier I can have data that is grouped together. I can have data that sets itself apart from the rest. I can be use to make a prediction. I compare two quantities of data I am a way to display data.
