But here at Thessalonica there was LIFE!

1. WORK PRODUCED BY FAITH

The Thessalonians Refused to share affection with any other god They worked hard but observed one day as totally different in order to worship their God together- that was their priority They showed respects for their families They were not promiscuous but faithful in marriage You could take them at their word They seemed contented with what they had or did not have

2. LABOUR PROMPTED BY LOVE Befriending Serving Praying Speaking the truth in love Sharing the faith

3. ENDURANCE INSPIRED BY HOPE

Is all my activity God motivated activity? Am I tired of the work or tired through the work? What should I do?

How does the promised return of Jesus incentives me in my daily service? How and where is the trumpet of evangelism sounding out?

They tell how you turned to God from idols (PAST) To serve the living and true God (PRESENT) And to wait for his son from heaven (FUTURE)
