Socially and spiritually this woman’s names are “unclean,” “unwelcome,” “untouchable.” (Leviticus 15:19-27)

Jesus accepts all interruptions Jesus accepts all interruptions. Are we paying attention enough to be aware of the interruptions God brings into our lives?

Jesus is touchable

“For you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and frolic like well-fed caves.” – Malachi 4:2

From “unclean,” “unwelcome,” and “untouchable” to “Daughter” – one who belongs, one who is a part of the family, one who is deeply loved.

When Jesus calls us, he calls us by names we have forgotten we had and, in that process, creates something new!

Rise up Everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. That is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” – Ephesians 5:13-14
