Lesson: Percent of a Number Fill out your guided notes sheet as you watch the video. If you need for the video to be paused for a moment to catch up, please raise your hand. Safari Today you are going to get started on a sewing project. You will need the following from the back table: Pattern Felt (be sure to return scraps to the table so others can use the color) Ziploc Bag Scissors Sharpie marker Index card

Procedure Cut out pieces from the pattern Trace the pattern onto the felt with the Sharpie Cut out the felt pieces. It’s alright if you have some of the sharpie remain, because we will sew the pieces on upside down. Write your name on the index card. Put card, pattern pieces, and felt pieces in the Ziploc baggie. Put in the gray tub on the table. Clean up

B Block Today you will be making a cuboctahedron. There is a yellow example of the finished figure so you can see how it goes together. You will need to find the surface area, so do that first. You are to decorate it with one of the Zentangle patterns that we have done so far. The books are on the table for you to look at.
