Bell Work- Monday 8/27 Tone and Mood On one side of your notecard, you will define the term tone, create a word list of adjectives that can be used to describe tone, and create an example to illustrate tone using your summer reading book. On the other side of your notecard, you will define the term mood, create a word list, and create an example to illustrate mood using your summer reading book. You need to create a visual representation of these words in a way that best helps you. Go to my website, mturpen.weebly.com. First, view the PowerPoint (first file under this week). Then, visit the second file for this week. Choose the information that best helps you complete your card.

Syntax/Diction and Imagery Bell Work- Tuesday 8/28 On one side of your notecard, define syntax and give an example (focus on slides 9 and 20). On the other side of your notecard, define diction and give an example (focus on slides 3 and 5).
