AURAK SAQR LIBRARY What is Library Electronic Database? Library Electronic Database is an organized collection of information, of a particular subject or multi-disciplinary subject areas. These information include e-books, journal articles, magazines, newspaper articles, book reviews, and conference proceedings, etc. which can be searched and retrieved electronically. AURAK SAQR LIBRARY

To access the Library Electronic Databases, visit AURAK website (http://aurak.ac.ae), then click Library or open the library webpage through http://aurak.ac.ae/en/library/. The library webpage will then be displayed. Then, click on Library Electronic Databases under the Related Links within the library webpage. The page will display the list of the library subscribed Electronic Databases. AURAK SAQR LIBRARY

Select from the list of electronic databases which you are interested in. Each Database is labeled with its related subjects. AURAK SAQR LIBRARY

A username and password issued by IT Department is required to open Library Electronic Databases inside and outside the university. Please note that only username will be entered and not the email address as shown below: AURAK SAQR LIBRARY

From the selected Database, type the keyword/s you are searching through the search index such as title, author, subject… etc.   For Example : Searching an Article on “Education” from EBSCO Academic Search Complete using the search index Title. AURAK SAQR LIBRARY

To view the full text of an article, click on the PDF Full Text To view the full text of an article, click on the PDF Full Text. The full text article will then be displayed. This article can be printed, saved / downloaded, cited, and emailed. AURAK SAQR LIBRARY
