Georgia

Not quite Asian and certainly not really Middle Eastern, yet not fully European either, Georgia is an exotic mixture of influences not seen anywhere else.

Due the placement of Georgia we were crossroad of Assia and Europe

Recorded history in Georgia goes back over an incredible 3000 years, and our culture is far older. Particularly in ancient times we had far more contact with Mediterranean culture. To be sure, we Georgian's are neither Russian nor Slavic not Armenian and our language is much older.

The Democratic Republic of Georgia - First Republic was established on 26 May 1918. this is the first flag of the democratic Georgia. We celebrated our 100th year of independence on 26 of may.
