White Horse Working Party: Permission to speak to……. In order to achieve our Objectives The White Horse Working Party would like to seek permission from Morcott Parish Council to speak to the following parties: A. The owners of The White Horse: Burghley Estates, in order to: 1. Understand their priorities; 2. Understand their preferred outcome; 3. Explore other options which may be acceptable. B. Rutland County Council, in order to: 1. Understand their planning policies with relation to The White Horse Inn & its environs 2. Understand their guidelines for development C. External organisations & facilitators, in order to 1. Better understand the various business models applicable to running a successful village pub, the obstacles to overcome & learnings from previous experience. 2. Help us understand what is required to undertake & complete a feasibility study. 3. The external parties identified for initial contact are: i. “Pub is the Hub”; ii. The Plunkett Foundation; iii. CAMRA.
