South Carolina Career Readiness Assessments Posttest Training Webinar Hello everyone and welcome to the Posttest training webinar. Thank you for your collective effort during the recent testing window. We thank you for your professionalism and efficiency in getting all testing sessions completed and materials returned to Scantron. We are busy collecting and recording student test results in the next few weeks so reports will be available by May 15 as promised. Because there are many people on this webinar we cannot open the microphone for live questions during the webinar. If you have questions, please type them into the question box. They will be answered real time by WIN staff and we will discuss some of them at the end of this webinar if we have time.

WIN Career Readiness Assessments Steve Fain Executive Vice President Kathy Fletcher Implementation Consultant Ken Boddie South Carolina Regional Account Manager Valencia Strowder Implementation Consultant We introduced ourselves during our last webinar but just wanted to reinforce your familiarity with your WIN team. Steve Fain is our Executive Vice President; Ken Boddie is your Regional Account Manager, Kathy Fletcher is the lead implementation consultant and Valencia Strowder is also an Implementation Consultant. Also, we have a helpdesk available to answer all of your questions. During this webinar I will show you how to access our helpdesk from the WIN Learning Career Readiness Portal.

WIN Career Readiness Assessments District Test Coordinators: Posttest Information Sharing For all students who took the assessment but were not in the datafile after March 30: WIN will enter these students into the portal. We will need this information before tests results can be posted. WIN will send an excel file requesting student information and demographic details – DTC’s will fill out and return to WIN. Once students are entered, WIN will send a datafile via Sharefile with portal access information for these students. #1: We know there were students at your schools that took the Assessments but they did not have a pre-printed answer sheet. Those students were not part of the datafile as of March 30, so they need to be entered into the WIN Career Readiness portal. WIN Learning will do this for your schools. #2: However, we will need demographic information from the District Test Coordinators so we can enroll these students. #3: To that end, we will send each district a spreadsheet to fill in. Instructions will include how to return the completed spreadsheet via our secure ShareFile. #4: Once we receive the spreadsheet from the districts and enter the students into the WIN Career Readiness System, we will send you a file through ShareFile that contains Usernames and Passwords for those students. We will be sending the excel file to the DTC’s very soon.

WIN Career Readiness Assessments Access for Staff: Steps to enroll additional staff in the WIN CRS: First, always search for name to determine they are not already enrolled. Remember to add career. as a prefix to the email address for all staff members. This will be their username. Use Password1 as the initial password for consistency. Staff can change their password by selecting “User Profile”. You can always look up username but you cannot see passwords for staff. You must reset the password for staff if necessary. With reports coming out on May 15, school staff will want to access the student reports. While many staff members have been enrolled already, there may be some that need to be enrolled. We will show you this process during this webinar. A few things to remember as you enroll additional staff members: Always search for the staff member before you enroll them. We do not want duplicates in the system. Remember to add career. as a prefix to the email address. This will be the Username for staff members. We use this unique username that will always be associated with the Statewide Testing portal. Use Password1 for the initial password so we have consistency. Staff members can change their passwords by selecting “User Profile” at the top of the dashboard. If a staff member forgets their password, administrators can reset their password for them.

WIN Career Readiness Assessments Hierarchy for Staff Enrollment: South Carolina Administration (State Level) District Test Coordinator or Administrator School Test Coordinator, Administrator or Guidance Counselor Teacher There is a specific hierarchy in our portal so that those with more permissions can add staff members. State staff members can see all reports and enroll everyone into the portal. District Test Coordinators can add all staff members at the school level and see all reports for all schools in their district. School Administrators, including School Test Coordinators, Guidance Counselors and School Staff can add teachers and see all reports for their school. Teachers can add students (although this is not necessary this year since WIN Learning is entering all students in to the system this year) and see their students’ reports. Students cannot self enroll but they can see their own reports via the WIN Learning portal. They can also print their own certificates to attach to a job application or take to a job interview.
